Tapping arms are the easiest way to help an employee do repetitious work. They are versatile and have many uses such as tapping, drilling, fastening, lifting, grinding, and polishing. The ATM-27-1900 tapping armis that is has an ergonomic design, this is to protect workers from injuries that tend to develop over time during repetitious work. What make this tapping arm different is that it has a double articulated pneumatic tapping arm to extend its reach to 75”. The sturdy cast iron swing arm is connected to the base by means of a hardened and ground shaft that incorporates a leveling system. The twin parallel arms are made of heavy gage aluminum tubing that effective sat neutralizing vibration and torque reaction.
The included pneumatic motor spins at 220 rpm and includes 6 different tap holders, as well as a drill chuck. Use with the optional work cart to make this a mobile unit so that it can be used anywhere in the shop.
